Holly Sisneros

Public health and health education have been my passion for more than 30 years. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master’s in Public Health from San Jose State University. My work experience has been at varying organizational levels, including several community-based agencies, Peace Corps, local health departments, and 21 years with the California Department of Public Health. I have been fortunate to fill a range of roles within different public health programs, giving me both breadth of skill and perspective. This exposure has also taught me the value of approaching issues with a combination of creativity and an established framework. As I retire from CDPH, I look forward to engaging my public health expertise through consulting.
